HIPAA services and rates

HIPAA requires medical providers to have a written data backup plan as part of a contingency plan. MicronetOhio can help your medical practice to comply. MicronetOhio can be your data backup solution by providing you with secure, automatic backups, data storage and recovery. We can even prepare a written data backup plan for you and assist you with the rest of your contingency plan! Read more about HIPAA.

Your monthly fee for online data backup is based on the volume of data protected, and the unit price for service decreases as the volume of your data increases. Your price range is based on compressed storage. For example, 150 MB of uncompressed data on your hard drive may compress down to 20 MB on DataHEALTH's servers. Your price level would then be based on 20 MB.

Online backup pricing

To receive a 10% discount, you can choose to pay for 12 months of service in advance.

Our online backup rates include:

Client software to perform all your backups and data restoration

Protection and recovery of your backed up data

Automatic access to your latest versions of files for 30 full days, 24 hours a day,7 days a week

Secure storage of an additional eleven months of data in an encrypted format, available to you on CD. (Should you need to retrieve your data on CD it is available for $50.00 per CD plus shipping.)

Data archiving rates

"Archived data" is older than 12 months and is stored in an encrypted format on CD in our secure vault, according to the terms of duration agreed upon between you and DataHEALTH. The annual fee for archiving 12 months of data is equal to your most recent monthly backup charge. Contact us to set up a data archiving agreement. Should you need to retrieve your data on CD it is available for $50.00 per CD plus shipping.
